Rindfleisch (z.B. Wade, Brust oder Tafelspitz), 1 Cup kalifornisches Eichelmehl, ca. 1,5 ltr. Wasser (wenn n\u00f6tig, mehr), 2 gro\u00dfe Zwiebeln grob gehackt, Salz und Pfeffer zum Abschmecken.<\/p>\n<p>Das Rindfleisch in mundgerechte W\u00fcrfel schneiden und zusammen mit den gehackten Zwiebeln in einen Topf geben und mit dem Wasser bedecken. Aufkochen lassen und die Hitze so weit reduzieren, da\u00df das Wasser gerade noch simmert und in ca. 3 bis 4 Stunden weich kochen. Den Sud abgie\u00dfen, es sollten noch etwa 3 Cups Br\u00fche nachbleiben, wenn das Fleisch gegart ist. Mit Salz und Pfeffer abschmecken, mit dem Eichelmehl gut vermischen und warm halten. Die Br\u00fche zum Kochen bringen und \u00fcber die Fleisch-Mehl-Mischung geben, dabei gut umr\u00fchren und das Mehl etwas aufquellen lassen.
